Verified customer concern. Upon arrival, Reach-In Freezer unit unplugged. Started up and once started could hear refrigerant leaking. Traced and found condensation loop had rub and pin hole in it. Recovered unit. Replaced condensation loop, fabricated on site. Vacuumed unit, weighed in charge, started up and allowed unit to come down to temp and cycle. Unit is now working properly. ** No charge travel and miles per Service Manager
Please accept our sincerest apologies that we didn’t live up to your expectations on this occasion.
Modified mount & evaporator to accept new style fan on MBT Walk-In Freezer. Security bit broke upon install. Note; fan blade is much larger than existing. It is very tight to fan guard. No guarantee that with swelling & contracting of metal due to temperature variations that blade won''t start hitting but blade is plastic so should wear in if it does. Unit is running, cooling & nothing is hitting or rubbing @ this time. **** Billing travel but not mileage****
We are so glad to hear that you had a good experience..
Dispenser Compressor very hot. Placed valves in system. Unit is low in freon. I added freon. Leak checked system and no leak detected in compressor area. Removed putty to evaporator area and leak detector goes off at opening to evaporator. This is not repairable. Also found the solenoid not working. Unit needs replaced. Turned unit off.
Unit was off on full bin when I arrived. I lowered ice level so machine would run and checked operation. Freeze and harvest times seemed normal. I called Manitowoc and and they said my head pressure was a little low. Found head master not maintaining correct pressure (should be 225 psi but was 205 psi) Will get headmaster and return 12/22/16 Recovered refrigerant and replaced head master and filter drier. When I started unit up I noticed head pressure was off. I called Manitowoc and they said I received the wrong valve. Will re order 12/23/16 Recovered refrigerant and replaced head master and filter drier. Pulled vacuum on system and put refrigerant back in. Head pressure now looks good and unit is working properly
