9/8/23 Dan Arrived onsite and checked in with the opening cook. Shut off steamer. Removed igniter box assembly and replaced with new igniter box assembly. Reassembled. Turned off water, swapped old filter cartridges with new and flushed. Powered on steamer to test operation. Both Top and bottom cavities are steaming at this time. Job complete
Arrived on, 09-5-23 Matt Steamer was leaking water. Ran unit. Found drain was clogged and backing up and overflowing. Blew drain out. Ran unit for half hour checked for leaks. Job complete.
On, 8/25/23 Sean Arrived on site, spoke with manager about issues with BKI fryer. He said he found a probe inside of the fryer snapped off. Found that it was the hi limit. He had two spares due to this happening in the past. Used one to repair this fryer. Turned power off to the unit. Took front and left covers off to access the hi limit. Removed old hi limit and replaced with new. Fastened it directly behind the element to keep it out of the fry baskets way. Buttoned unit up and reestablished power. Tested unit and it now powers on and heats. Job is complete
Arrived to repair a commercial refrigeration unit at a business. Also cleaned and sanitized ice-making equipment as preventative maintenance.
Arrived at location on 9/19/22 - Removed top plate and found that drain is clogged. Removed back cover and it was filled to the top with greasy water. Removed water from the unit. Removed drain. Was extremely clogged. Used metal wire through to free open. Rinsed in the sink then reinstalled into unit. Water goes down to pan now with no issues and no more leak. Unit back in service and ready for use.
Arrived at location on 6/10/22 - Called rational and spoke with Brad. Could not locate issue with tech. Did visual inspection and checked all wiring again. Customer states only doing it in steam not. Found a wire from gas valve to module loose. Same one as previous. So called rational and got part number to replace wires from steam gas valve to the module. Put wires back terminal and put tape are and placed back on module. Will order part and return to location. Oven is still working. Returned to location on 6/14/22 - Was told reset gas has not come up since previous visit when I taped wires. Removed left side panel. Unplugged unit and removed the valve cable. Replaced with new valve cable. Reassembled and plugged in the unit. Powered on and ran in steam. Works well and gave no issue. Ran in hot air and gave no issues. Oven is back in service and ready for use.

Arrived at location on 5/25/22 - Checked range top burner pilots. Left 2 rear and front middle pilots are out. Will not light. Adjustments don’t work. Cleaned tips. Still no gas. Need to replace lines. 2 rear and 1 front. Right oven pilot was out. Maintenance said they couldn’t get it to light at all. No flame. It lit right away for me and stayed lit while on site. Possibly the safety is faulty. They said they will call if it happens again. Left oven was soothed. Checked gas pressure to unit. Was at Uld be 4”. Adjusted down. This would cause a shooting issue. Will obtain pilots and return. Customer is advised to have the left oven cleaned. Will return. Returned to location on 6/1/22 - Removed middle 2 and left rear pilots and installed new. Lit pilots and adjusted to proper height. Customer okay’d. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 5/6/22 - Turned on steam and could not get to give error code. Was told can take 30-60 minutes to appear on screen. Removed the ignitor and checked the tank and found no water inside. Tank is in good condition. Believe the module relay is giving issue. Turned on again and allowed to steam for 25 minutes and the “reset gas” appeared. Will order new module and ignitor for the oven. Will return. Unit is in use with hot air only. Returned to location on 5/24/22 - Dissembled the unit and removed the module. Replace the module with a new one and went wire for wire to have it exactly the same as previous. Removed the ignitor and replaced it with a new one. Reassembled and tested oven in steam on “cont” for 15 minutes. Opened and close door and ran it for another 15 minutes. Unit is working good and ready to steam. Combi oven back in service.
Arrived at location on 5/18/22 - Arrived on site found 3rd burner valve from right broken on the Southbend 6 burner range oven. Disassembled face plate and grates, and removed broken burner valve and Pilot valve installed new burner valve and reassembled range. Tested burners several times and all ok.
Arrived at location on 4/22/22 - Replaced and set thermostat and unit cycled.
Arrived at location on 3/22/22 - Dishwasher fills. Staff says it didn’t fill last week. Now the problem is it isn’t getting to rinse temp.wash temp is at 163. Ran several cycles. Rinse contactor energized each time. Getting 16 amps per leg on all 3 elements. 208v. The rinse temp on the rinse piping was reading 190 when the digital temp was reading under 150. Eventually it started reading proper temp but it would fluctuate while the mechanical thermometer was reading steady 190. Need new thermistor. Will obtain and return. Returned to location on 3/30/22 - Installed new rinse temp probe into rinse piping. Ran several cycles. Digital temp and mechanical gauge reading the same. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 3/9/22 - The window opens and closes but sometimes it stops. Raised the window but still have the problem. Need new motor. Also, the cable pulley is a little wobbly. Need to replace that, as well. Will obtain parts and return. Returned to location on 3/28/22 - Removed old motor and pulley. Installed new. Turn on. Open/closed window 20 times. Open/closed ok with no problem. Customer tested. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 3/25/22 - Arrived to location and spoke to Shane. Inspected oven and found thermocouple to be bad. Replaced thermocouple and tested. Oven stays lit and operates as it should. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 2/14/22 - Arrived on location and met with lee. Entered the church and gained access to kitchen. Inspected unit for leaks. Found evidence of combustion external to the center gas valves and pilot valve. Turned gas off to unit and removed valves. Applied sealant to threads and reassembled. Checked for leaks and lit unit. Found no further evidence for unit to be locked out. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 9/2/21 - Checked in with Chef Pete. Checked over right side kettle next to Cleveland steamers. Turned on. Low Water light stays on. Checked sight glass. No water, filled jacket with distilled water, supplied by customer. Filled to half way level in the sight glass. Turned on. Set thermostat all the way up. As per instructions, let pressure get to 5 PSI and pulled on PRV pin to release air. Repeated 4 times. Put in cold water. Pressure dropped and came to 25" Hg. Filled with more cold water and turned on to high. The PRV valve release pin is broken. Chef Pete said to replace the valve. Will obtain. Water came to a rolling boil. Chef Pete verified. Will obtain PRV and return. Returned to location on 9/7/21 - Removed old PRV and installed new. Bled air. Cooled down kettle and it pulled a vacuum. Filled kettle with water and turned on. Heated. Water is boiling. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 8/19/21 - Per Chef Sean replace the hose assy on the kettle. Will order and return. Returned to location on 8/26/21 - Arrived and customer allowed me in and made way to 3rd floor Removed the old filler hose assy and installed the new filler hose assy. Tighten down the whole faucet assy. Turn on the water and test. No leaks and filler assy works properly. In service.
Arrived at location on 7/23/21 - put temp probe inside bottom oven. (Jason said it's the one) unit fired rite up came to 367 then dropped to 345 and came back on. After 30min. temp was less and variance was more. 325 to 330. Burner lit every time. changed controller and temp probe. Retested and temp and variance is good. Settled to 352. Had problem getting screws out for temp probe. Did remove them. Unit is operational job complete.
Arrived at location on 6/18/21 checked the bottom oven and the display comes on and can be set in a cook mode but the start button is not responding. This has been a continuous problem per customer. Encoder or display is acting up. Could not get ahold of Angelopo but no one answers the phone. Want part numbers for display and rinse pump then I took and used in the top oven to get it going for customer. Need parts. Will id and call for approval on repairs. Bottom not in service . Top is ok. Returned to location on 6/23/21 Installed new Rinse Aid Pump and control board(display) on bottom oven. Turned on and let preheat. Pressed Start and oven preheated to 500. Started a cycle and took video of operation. Back in service.
Arrived to location on 6/17/21 and spoke to manager. Opened panel on unit and checked dispenser connections. Had to disassemble front panel and remover dispenser from front panel. Dispenser connections to spouts were both clogged. cleaned each spout thoroughly and reassembled unit. Unit now works to specification. unit back in service.

Arrived at location on 6/12/21, Upon arrival noticed a 20inch fan blowing on high directly in burner compartments. Took pic, moved fan. Lit both oven pilots and set to 350. Came to temp and cycled. Cleaned air vent in regulator. Unit is operational job complete.
Arrived at location on 6/2/21, to service tilt skillet. Checked elements for resistance. Getting about 60 ohms on each element. Inspected wires for shorts, found nothing inside the unit. Checked contactors for shorts, found nothing. Traced power plug and found l2 and l3 shorted out inside loom. Cut wires back, stripped and rewired plug. Checked tstat and capillary, they were okay. Need new bulbs for power light and heat indicator. Will obtain and return. Replaced the power switch and the 24 vac light and the temperature knob. Power on and unit heats up and have 12 amp heating. Tested the tilt switch and it shuts off the unit when tilted . Light now works. Back in service.
