There might be a variety of causes for your industrial oven not to turn on. The most typical problem is that the pilot light does not ignite. This problem usually occurs when the thermostat is not in the proper position. The thermocouple cannot get hot enough to release the safety valve if it is not directly in the flame while igniting the pilot. If the thermocouple is directly in the flame and does not stay lit, the thermocouple may be faulty and must be replaced.
The most likely culprit is a malfunctioning thermopile. The thermopile is the heating element of the deep fryer. Busy commercial kitchens heat enormous amounts of oil for extended periods of time, which may be taxing on the thermopile. Because a worn thermopile cannot transfer thermal heat from the pilot light into electrical energy, the fryer oil will not heat.
The most common cause of commercial oven failure is a defective pilot light. However, there might be other reasons why your industrial oven isn't working. If your oven does not reach the temperature you selected, the thermostat is either out of calibration, malfunctioning or defective. Changing the thermostat should solve the problem.
