Commercial refrigerator showing signs of refrigerant leak. Checked the valves, fittings, coils, and refrigerant lines and found that the valves are worn out. Replace the components and ensure the leak is gone.
Arrived at location on 12/1/22 - Found pilot not lighting tested mv on thermocouple found low mv and the end of thermocouple is very burnt. Replaced thermocouple. Tested operation ok.
Arrived at location on 9/1/22 - Found heat deflector burnt out and laying atop burner. Gas valve handle hard to turn and hard to get gas to flow thru valve when turned. Called blodgett for part numbers will quote repair. Spoke with Mark at blodgett. Returned to location on 9/16/22 - Removed stone from oven then removed broken bottom panels. Upon installing new bottom panels found they required some adjustment in order to fit due to support rails out of square. Adjusted panels as necessary. Put stone back in. Changed out main gas ball valve. Started oven ok.
Found SBR Range unit off upon arrival. Unplugged unit and check connections in the motor. Checked voltage to unit. Checked capacitors and found they were both open. Found a door switch that fell off. Installed door switch. Plugged unit in and blower motor worked. Unit is now functioning properly.
Checked Walk-In Cooler and found coil clear. Checked parameters on controller and changed box temp set point from 35*F to 36.2*F. Manufacturer does not want set point below 36*F due to unit does not defrost well below 36*F. Will check back to see if alarm comes back.
Deliver and install all equipment, install new dormont gas hoses and quick disconnects, remove all old equipment. Customer Agrees to pay $500 a month for 22 months till the invoice is paid in whole, starting July First 2016
Checked one unit and is very old R-12 system. Recommend new unit. Other unit unwired at start components. Wired up 3N1 start package and found unit pulling 24 amps and compressor won't start or pump. Also found braze joints looking very bad and would need fixed. Will make estimate for comp., drier, and fix braze joints. Removed faulty comp., installed new comp. and drier. Tested for leaks, found none. Pulled vacuum, held vacuum OK. Charged unit and tried to cycle unit and found t-stat was bypassed. Repaired wires and cycled unit at 34*F, OK.
