When the garbage disposal is turned on, there is an unusually loud noise. Did not find any obstructions, blockages or issues with the blades being worn out. Found that the noise is coming from the motor bearings that are failing. Will replace the entire garbage disposal with a new unit from the manufacturer.

Lit unit and ran for 20 minutes. Flames were blue and seen no soot leaving unit. Recommended that supply reg from tank be replaced. Dave stated that he will order and replace regulator himself. Unit back in service.

Upon arrival Salad Bar unit was on and stocked with product. Customer complaints that the temp seemed off they think it might need refrigerant. The box temp was at 38 degrees Fahrenheit. After this happened the compressor kicked on. The unit was searched for leaks. The leak detector did not go off inside the evaporator but it did in the condensing unit area when unit was on. Soap bubbles were used in various places to try and locate a leak no leaks found. The unit satisfied and the the leak detector did not go off at the condensing area . This could be a false reading, the box was satisfied upon arrival and satisfied 2 times while troubleshooting Evaporator air temp was as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit. At this time the unit's charge seems fine.
Found Reach-In Freezer unit short cycling on low pressure switch. Leak checked unit found no leaks. Recovered refrigerant 28 oz. Removed capillary tube and cleared blockage at outlet. Reinstalled capillary tube, pulled vacuum, charged and checked operation. Adjusted pressure control. Unit operating normally at this time.

Examined Ice Machine unit. found evaporator solid block of ice. removed ice from evap and cleaned ice maker per manufacture instructions. water pressure low and filter restricted, Dan had to run for filter. replaced water filter and bled water line. reassembled unit and tested. unit made ice. discarded first batch and waited for second to drop. good to go. Believe low water pressure was main cause of not making ice.
Cleaned water pt probes and descaled electric steamer, flow through filters at 50psi, filters good, tested operation, tested good.
Found the Reach-In Cooler unit in the defrost cycle. Was told the unit goes into defrost often and asked if this was normal. Could not answer the question. The unit came out of defrost and cooled down to 37 degrees Fahrenheit and then took its time. Put gauges on the unit and the suction pressure was low at 8 PSI. Added refrigerant to bring the pressure up to between 15 and 20 psi.. The unit cooled down to 34 degrees Fahrenheit and then came back on at 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Moved the set points to come on at 37 degrees Fahrenheit and off at 33.5. Found a piece of paper blocking some air flow in the evaporator. The unit went into defrost again so I called technical service and talked to Becky. She said the unit will go into defrost every hour and say defrost for about twenty minutes an hour. Leak tested briefly but did not find a leak. If the unit losses its refrigerant again a more the leak will have to be found and fixed. The unit is up and running.
examined unit, dishwasher running fine, getting a fluctuation in incoming pressure from feed line. found several old valves and an old regulator ( probably not working ) and found a new regulator on the incoming line at the dish machine - talked with Dave (dietary) and Eric (maintainence) and discussed what is called water hammer, the in maintainence department will handle the changes needed to the incoming water supply line.
Moved the Reach-In Cooler unit to the back. Disassembled and replaced the capillary tube and drier. Reassembled and pressure tested with nitrogen for half an hour then evacuated to below 500 microns. Charged by weight and tested. The unit shuts off at 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Resealed the top.

Examined Electric Oven unit, customer stated product not cooking correctly and no shine on bagels. Checked temperatures, oven display on temp within 4% of tech temp meter, removed water lines from solenoid and checked for obstruction, none found. Spoke to Blodgett, they said when unit activates water, should be for 1 minute about 6 ounces of water. Went into programming and activated hydro for one minute only had 3 ounces of water, turned flow meter from 3 to 4, tested again, had 6 ounces of water, good. Customer will use and advise
