Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair Service: At a retail venue, where the frozen beverage machine's motor failed, disrupting slushy production, I replaced the motor. This ensures customers can enjoy their frozen beverages consistently.
Commercial Warewashing System Repair. Responding to concerns about inconsistent water heating affecting the efficiency of the commercial warewashing system, I performed a detailed inspection. Identifying a worn-out water heater element as the root cause, I executed a precision replacement. This essential repair guarantees that the warewashing system consistently operates with optimal water temperature, ensuring thorough and effective cleaning of dishes and utensils in a commercial setting.
Arrived on, 8-16-23 Ron F-Opened up each unit for inspector. He found each unit needs delimed and each unit needs new sight glass. Found far right unit may need element if can not be delimed. Returned on, 9-5-23 John S/Ron F-Opened each unit and replaced sight glasses on left, middle and right units.delimed each unit. Tested and found in working order at this time.
Preventative maintenance for commercial refrigeration equipment. Cleaned condensing coils, checked door gaskets, door hinges and condensate drain. All coils were blown out with nitrogen. Discussed recommended repairs and replacements with manager and changed out filters after talking.
Planned maintenance service for commercial refrigeration equipment. Replaced air filters, cleaned condenser coils, checked hinges, door gaskets, sells, and refrigerant levels. The thermostat is working properly and maintaining interior temperature.
Arrived at location on 7/21/22 - Checked over unit, pilot is lit, turned thermostat to 300F and let heat, when thermostat cycled off the oil temp was 22F over thermostat setting. Turned thermostat to highest setting of 375F and let heat again. When thermostat cycled off oil temp was 19F over. Let thermostat cycle a few times. Oil temperature remained between 15-19F over, thermostat will need to be replaced. Hi limit should also be replaced as it appears to be the original which could be contributing to their intermittent issue. Returned to location on 8/5/22 - Removed failed hi limit and thermostat, installed new hi limit and thermostat, lit pilot, turned on thermostat. Let heat, unit heated up and thermostat is cycling, confirmed unit working correctly at this time.
Checked over UNV Slicer unit. Found large gap between table and blade. Adjusted gap to 1/16". Sharpened blade per manufacturers instructions. Found sharpening stones worn and need replaced. 3/10/21 Removed worn sharpening and honing stones and replaced. Energized and sharpened knife per manufacturers instructions. Unit operating normally at this time. **No Travel Charges**

Found top steamer not responding to timer, found unit will only run in certain spot for timer. Disassembled timer and reassembled timer. Tested found to operate at this time. Found bottom cavity okay. Will need new timer and filter. 6/17/20 Removed defective timer, installed new timer, found water filter incorrect, will order correct filter and return to install, allowed unit to run, cycled timer, tested operations, confirmed unit working correctly at this time. 6/29/20 Removed old water filter, installed new water filter, purged filter, tested operations, confirmed unit working correctly at this time
Found Electric Steamer unit off. Turned unit on allowed to fill. Turned heat on found once unit started building pressure the unit would drain all the water to the point of tripping low level light. Checked drain valve found piece of debris was blocking valve from shutting all the way. Cleaned out valve reinstalled valve. Turned unit on let fill and let unit heat. Found unit to fill normally, heat, build pressure and steam each compartment and cycle appropriately. Turned unit off to verified drain valve operated. Turned unit on and let unit run normally for about 10 minutes. Unit is operating correctly at this time. Turned unit off and allowed to drain.
Checked Combi Oven unit, found probes coated. cleaned. ran unit found similar issue. checked errors found errors 1,3,2, found issue in full valve will need to order and return. customer also wants a case of descaler (part order). 1/11/19 Replaced valve and ran unit. found unit had error 4 and would not heat upon checking found error 4 is a fair probe fault. checked over found probe wire broke off probe behind cover. removed probe took apart and got it to work temporarily until probe comes in. will order and return. 1-17-19 Removed left side panel to access probe. Removed failed probe, installed new probe, energized and checked operation. Unit operating normally at this time. ** No Travel Charge per Service Manager**
Removed the faulty elements and power switch on Duke Table. Then installed new with sealant where needed. I checked operation and all the elements are working fine. There is an issue with power to the metal cabinet. The test power supply set up in the maintenance shop has no ground so when I checked from the cabinet to earth ground I have 120v with the DP power switch off. I spoke to their maintenance about checking their cords etc.. for possible issues. I ohmed out the cord on the unit but didn't find anything between connections. But there still could be any issue but only when enough voltage is applied like insulation is wearing thin on wires. The bid work is complete at this time.
Found Steamer unit off. Replaced old boiler with new boiler. Turned unit on, allowed to heat and create pressure. Found unit okay. Unit operates correctly at this time.
Removed MFO Streamer level probes, filled with descaler, filled boiler with water and let descaler work. Cleaned scale deposits off level probe. Drained boiler refilled and allowed to drain again. Inspected door area ensued bolts and screws were tight adjusted spring. Door now seats when raised.
pulled probes on Combi oven, found okay. Cleaned burners and controls as they were really dirty. Put back together, ran, unit okay and clean light was off. ** Travel Charges billed on WO#142792
found far left fryer is leaking on the drain parts, obtained info for quote to repair. 9/15/17 drain was complete plugged. Cleaned, installed new parts. Had trouble with last clamp, got it tightened, all okay at this time. Unit should be cleaned more often and boiled out. **travel and miles on wo#140593
found unit off. Checked breaker, found power to unit, found terminal block broken but still had power. Found 3 amp fuse blown and wires shorted from board to fuse. Replaced terminals, wire and fuse. Contactors are corroded and need replaced. Will obtain parts and return to replace. 5-15-17 Billy F- found unit in use. Turned off when they were done using it and replaced contactors and terminal block, removing rust as needed, repaired/replaced terminals and wires as needed. Tested, found element gaskets leaking, (will obtain QWP - expedited freight - per Kim DeHart) and return to replace. parts came in ground, no QWP charge. 5-16-17 Jim N- Removed element mounting plate, attaching stud broke off when removing. Installed new gaskets and re-installed the plate. Other stud broke off during installation. Installed temporary screws in right side element, will need replaced. Unit also need anode rod replaced, will obtain and return to replace. Unit is ok to operate at this time. 5-30-17
Found unit off and burners very dusty. Removed burners and cleaned. Unit may need a flame sensor if the cleaning doesn't fix issue. Will order and install. 2-13-17 replaced flame sensor. Turned unit on, oven lit right away and cycled off at 382*F, set at 375*F and turned back on at 373*F. Unit is back in service at this time. 2-17-17 found unit off, turned on and let heat up to temp. Unit is heating and cycling normally. Watched unit cycle for 1 hour with out issue. Checked ignitor, module and flame sensor, all are working properly. If problem persists, recommend replacing module and ignitor.
Found unit (Oven) off. Turned on and found unit Heating and at 375 degrees set point unit was cycling off at 386 degrees and back on at 364 degrees. Checked flame sensor micro amps and found running at 2.2 micro amps. adjusted flame sensor and unit is now pulling 3.2 micro amps. Unit appears to be igniting and lighting and cycling as it should. Told customer to keep eye on it and if problem persists to call back. unit is okay at this time.
Found Fry Filtering unit on. Customer explained filter pump intermittently not running when unit is hot. Inspected unit and pump motor started and ran fine. Recommended replacing pump and motor. Will order and replace. -- found unit on, replaced pump and motor, unit is okay.
I found relay within ignition box clicking in/out. Found hot surface ignitor was pinched within framework. Taped over wire. Will order and return. Unit (SBR Oven) running at this time. I found unit off and replaced ignitor with new. Re-lit oven, working okay at this time. **Travel Charges billed on WO#110639
Dishwasher - found both temps and pressure are low. Found maintenance, showed issue with water, found water coming to unit is hit and miss cold/hot. Unit also needs a t-stat for wash tank. Will order and return. Found unit on and not holding temp. Wash was 130*F, rinse 160*F. Replaced rinse tank t-stat, wash now 190*F, rinse 180*F.
Delfield Ice Machine Tech - unit making loud grinding noise. Found belt tension on motor not completely tight. Tightened tension and noise returned to normal. Also found drain clamp broken causing drain to fall out and leak on floor. Attached drain back on unit using new clamp. Unit isn't leaking and is not making loud noise. Ready to use.
