Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived at location on 5/16/22 - Met Scott on site. 2 door victory reach in was running and at 64 degrees. Checked pressures and found unit to be low for 134a refrigerant. Charged unit back up and turned unit off. Equalized pressures and began leak detecting. I could find no leaks. Checked shraeder valves and they were tight and all cap rubbers were tight. Told Scott that we will have to see how long charge holds. I am suspecting a very small evaporator leak due to all the yeast in the environment. Unit came down to setpoint and cycled off several times while on site.
Arrived at location on 3/14/22 - Pilot very low unit is very sooted up. Regulator is up where burner is need to move down under cabinet. Regulator and safety heat damaged advised to replace. Will order. Returned to location on 3/25/22 - Installed new safety on unit parts sent wrong regulator. Advised not to use till I get one. Will reorder. Returned to location on 4/4/22 - Installed regulator set gas pressure to 3 in wc per customer. Ran unit tested ok no leaks.
Arrived at location on 11/16/21 - Found the lid stop bolt got caught behind the bowl belt. Ate belt up. AP42 Belt. Tried Advance Auto and others, no one had the belt. Owner found belt at True Value. He supplied belt. Called ABS and got tech support. Lid bolt suppose to be bent away from belt. Bent the bolt by hand. Advance auto ordering a belt. Owner will put on. Vacuum out top of unit. All other belts tight and no adjustments can be made to tighten bowl spinner belt. Measured old belt OD 43.75 inches. Factory said A42 belt. Have pics. Completed.
Found Walk-In Cooler compressor not running when I arrived, tested voltage to compressor and was good, compressor was trying to start but making a knocking noise when trying to start, tested compressor and found to be bad, compressor is on order at united reading and will be picked up today and someone will return to install. 11/27/19 Recovered charge from existing unit, removed compressor and filter drier. The old compressor was all braze in, new compressor is a roto lock. modified piping into new compressor. leak tested with nitrogen, pulled deep vacuum and put recovered 404a back into unit. unit went down to 34 degrees and cycled off.
Replaced Grill thermocouple and checked operation. Okay. Completed.
Call out-Found Walk-In Freezer system low on refrigerant and there was oil all over the side of the compressor. There was a cap on the suction flare port that was leaking so I replaced it. The cap on the receiver stem was leaking as well so I put thread sealant on it and when I tightened it the leak stopped. I also noticed the low pressure switch was sticking causing the compressor to run into a vacuum, so I replaced it as well. I added refrigerant and the box temp is now dropping.
At location with follow up with parts for steamer. I removed both steamer gasket housings and unbolted and removed bad gaskets. I then installed 2 new gaskets and put unit back together, new gaskets are sealing very well. ** No charge travel and miles per Service Manager
